You have to realize two things to relish this movie.

PG-13 films are typically not for children. Parents seem to deem objective because its sharp means “hey select the kids.” Well how about we assume a small BEFORE we go running to the theatre? Complains about that are objective deceptive. The rating says it all, PAY ATTENTION.

The second thing you must realize is that this is an ADAM SANDLER movie, like his earlier films. Billy Madison, Cheerful Gilmore, all rude and shameful, accumulate over it. That was his style and he brought it benefit to obtain one of the funniest adult involving movies ever. The jokes here are classic, from whiteys seizures to him doing the robot in the middle of a basketball game. His sister eleanor has the cutest disclose which I’ve been imitating ever since I saw the movie. The townsfolk are a bellow, with choose schneider as an asian waiter. and jon lovitz as a man with a hook for a hand. This is a very unconventional Hannukah movie for the holidays. Definite it’s despicable, but if your offended than go rent the Ya Ya Sisterhood or some crap like that.This one is for the guys, not for parents or children. Next time read the rating before you complain. Don’t beget all the crap, this movie was HILARIOUS. If you like Kevin Smith movies or Adam sandler movies than observe this and bust a gut laughing. (hopefully not literally)

I really enjoyed this movie. Unlike The Wedding Singer, the humor was a bit more locker room gross-out, but like the Wedding Singer, it was filled with sentiment and heart. An mad Scrooge-like Jewish man learns to grieve, let go, and fancy the holidays again. No, it’s not for limited kids. That’s why it’s rated PG-13. Sandler shows tall talent and versatility as the voices of Davy, Eleanor and Whitey, the latter two being annoying elderly fraternal twins whom Davy grows to appreciate despite their freakishness. Win Schneider, Jon Lovitz, Kevin Nieland add their talent, as well as cameos by Tyra Banks and rock singer Ann Wilson as Davy’s mom. Alison Krauss lends her sweetness as the singing express of Jennifer, Davy’s childhood adore, now a single mom. The music is the most outstanding piece of this film. The lyrics are funny and goofy, but also clever, and the song structures are dynamic and hooky, and will stop with you afterward. If you go into this movie realizing it’s not a white-washed Disney flick for the kids, but it’s a laughable, sometimes contemptible, but sensitive Christmas record that tackles somewhat-adult issues, like why some people disapprove the holidays, I consider you’ll indulge in it almost as noteworthy as I did. It’s also loaded with special features that are worthwhile, too.

Because I’d seen so many of these episodes so many times, I started to skip through them and fair survey the ones I really enjoyed. On this DVD, I was pleasantly surprised to peep what I gain is the ONLY episode of the Cosby Indicate that I’d never seen, and how fitting of it to be about a book club. “Bookworm” was my well-liked episode on the entire DVD, and I rewatched it so I could laugh at Cosby’s secret at the book club meeting, especially when he rolled his eyes after giving a page number. Classic! However, I was expressionless tired and bored to tears with the “Shakespeare” episode. I don’t know why the writers view enacting scenes from “Shakespeare” would get a honorable episode. I couldn’t stand reading the stuff in high school and college (and I did understand it), so I definitely didn’t want to scrutinize it on a note that I did appreciate. I belief “The Locker Room” was an enthralling episode because it didn’t destroy the plot I expected it to, but it was extremely just to reality. This was a glowing pleasurable season. I liked the ones when Rudy was older remarkable better, and this season makes me wish “A Different World: Season 2″ would resurface, so I can take it. This was around the time when I would be rushing for the “Cosby Present” to be over with, so “A Different World” could arrive on. Man, I miss my childhood!

Of course I already enjoy seasons 1 and 2 and it has been fun re-watching my celebrated demonstrate growing up. My son has also fallen in fancy with the demonstrate. He especially loves Rudy while I like the older kids because I was a young teen when this exhibit started. For later seasons, we rely on the outmoded VHS recordings my dad has kept over the years, but they may not last mighty longer. I’m contented that more seasons of this large exhibit are being released. Like an earlier viewer stated, this point to is so great better than fresh T.V. and I’m thrilled that my son can grow up watching them too. He is growing up watching the shows my husband and I enjoyed as kids. Okay, so he’s out of touch with unusual pop culture, but is that such a dreadful thing when he can stare a immense role model like Bill Cosby? I highly recommend this display.

I remember seeing this movie the first time on HBO when i was 9.. I loved it instantly, a girl receiving powers on her 16th birthday, which turns her life around and makes the best of it by getting favorite, getting the guy of her dreams and doing what ever she wants, what more would she want. I wanted to be her. but then when i grew older seeing it again now at 23. She was gratified only for a period of time, she wants the guy to like her for who she is and not her popularity and looks. I view she was crazy to give up her powers. She should’ve kept em and let the spell wear off the guy of her dreams.

Favorite scenes were definitly when she changes her image, and the locker room dance and TOP That!!!

I determined delight in watching this movie once in awhile, it’s fun to see, never derive bored of it

If you like cheesy 80s’ films, this is the one to search for! and it’s one, if you are like me, that you can spy multiple times. It’s the record of Louise Miller, a 15(about to be 16) year frail girl who is a witch. She uses her power to become well-liked, and collect the guy she wants, who bares a striking resemblence to Tom Flee. Louise realizes later that she wants the guy to like her for herself and not the popularity allotment of the whole thing. IT’s a spacious film for teenagers, kids, anyone! Even 30 year musty women(like me) aloof delight in it. I saw this movie a year or two after it as released. There is a lot of cheesy music, and a unique girl’s gym scene where they dance around to a song called, “I LIKE BOYS!” it’s ultimate cheese.but it’s a cute yarn with a pleasant right. I also judge that Robyn Absorbing is one of the best young actresses around. Sight this movie if u want to have fun!

This DVD did not have closed caption or subtitle to allow deaf people like me to delight in it. Am disappointed.

“Iron Man: Armoured Adventures” did NOT maintain me with confidence when it first came to light. After the stout success of the live-action movie, the news that the series would be presenting Tony Stark as a teenager seemed an unnecessary storytelling blueprint (the movie didn’t need to invent the character younger in order to sell him to a younger audience, why should the cartoon? ), and compounding that was the fact that it harkened assist to a very unpopular period from the character’s history in the mid-90s, when he was replaced with a teenage version of himself. After all, by removing the adult Stark from the equation, you buy the opportunity to relate some of his greatest stories, like the seminal, alcohol-fuelled “Demon in a Bottle”, or his many tales of loves lost and won. The concurrent age-regression of many of his supporting cast like James Rhodes, Pepper Potts and Jubilant Hogan was a obscene accompanying shock, albeit a neeeded one to create the ensemble work. The discovery that his arch-enemy, the Mandarin, recieved the same treatment, however, was very nearly the last straw for me, as this honest wasn’t *necessary* the arrangement it was with his friends and allies. What was next, I wondered? The Melter, science geek who creates a raygun in the shcool lab? Whiplash, sports jock notorious for his locker-room rat-tails? Fin Fang Foom, cabin boy of an alien spacecraft, able only to breathe flame when he sneezed? Top it all off with some flat-out plain cel-shaded CGI animation, and redesigns of supervillains that made them discover nothing like themselves, and I resolved that “Armored Adventures” was not the expose for me.

And then… it… got… Noble. Barrelling through all of my greivances, the exhibit began juggling multiple ongoing plotlines (Tony’s struggle to reclaim his company from Obadaiah Stane, Tony and the Mandarin’s quest for the Makluan rings, the war between the Mandarin’s Tong and the criminal Maggia, the terrorists of AIM working on their MODOK project…), brought in guest characters from all over the Marvel universe, forging all the character relationships I expected and *wanted* to look (Pepper’s crush on Tony, Tony and Rhodey’s strained relationship over Tony’s lying and manipulation), and made the absolute *most* it possibly could of Iron Man’s admittedly limp rogue’s gallery (you’ve got the Mandarin, and everyone after that is C-level at best), refraining from de-age-ing any characters build for Madame Masque, and eventually even refining their build process so that characters like the Ghost, the Unlit Knight and the Murky Panther *looked like* their comic-book selves, where Mandarin, Blizzard, Whiplash and Crimson Dynamo had been unrecognizable, uninspired jumbles of indistinct armor. Breaking down every barrier that stood in its draw, even those very barriers that were built into the show’s basic plan, “Armored Adventures” has absolutely succeeded in being a safe version of Iron Man, and a stout superhero cartoon that easily outstrips its contemporary, “Wolverine and the X-Men,” in my book. It’s not quite “The Spectacular Spider-Man”, but it’s a country mile better than some of the other curious offerings Marvel has given us over the years.

So, if you have any of the hang-ups about the display that I did when it began that have kept you from watching it, do yourself a favour and give it another try. The two-part pilot throws a lot of the concepts that you may have pains with at you all at once, but it’s all uphill from there. Definitely reccommended!
